Longneck Manor's guided animal encounters put guests beside giraffes and rhinoceros inside an AZA-accredited non-profit conservation park in Fredericksburg, Texas. The reticulated giraffe is classified as Endangered on the IUCN Red List; the southern white rhinoceros as Near Threatened. Spending time with them in person turns conservation from an abstract concern into something you carry with you.
Led by our experienced Animal Care Specialists, each encounter introduces guests to the animals by name and shares the story of each one. Guests feed the animals, pose for up close photographs, and learn directly how the Longneck Manor Conservation Foundation supports the International Rhino Foundation and the Giraffe Conservation Foundation.

Lunch With Longnecks is one of our most personal offerings. Just you, your group, and private time with our tower of reticulated giraffes before a locally curated midday meal. Enjoy a 30–45 minute private giraffe interaction followed by a boxed lunch and beverage, set against sweeping Hill Country views from our elevated deck overlooking the giraffe pasture. Unhurried. Entirely your own.

Overnight guests enjoy an exclusive morning encounter from 9 to 11 AM every day of their stay before the public tours begin. With limited accommodations and a two-night minimum, each visit gives the animals (and you) time to settle in.
