What is the schedule like for animal encounters during my stay?

Accepted Answer

Animal encounters are offered every morning (including your check out day) from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Giraffe Suite guests have an additional interaction in each afternoon around 4:00 PM.The rest of the time you’re free to go into Fredericksburg and explore the surrounding Hill Country or relax on one of our outdoor decks and enjoy watching the animals!

Do you offer food service on property?

We do not have a restaurant on property, but continental breakfast items are pre-stocked in every accommodation to get you going on your first morning.Fredericksburg is 15 mins from Longneck Manor, however, and offers three grocery stores as well as over 30 restaurants to choose from. You’re free to bring food back or enjoy your meals in town.

Am I free to come and go from the property while I’m an overnight guest?

Yes! You’ll be given a gate remote at check in and can come and go as you please.

What happens if I’m arriving for check in after 5:00 PM on my day of arrival?

Please call 830-362-8752 to make arrangements if you’ll be arriving for check in after 5:00 PM.

What happens if the weather is bad during my stay?

We have the ability to conduct our animal encounters inside our 10,000 sq ft barn during inclement weather.

Can an Uber, Lyft or tour driver pick us up at our Villa/Suite?

Yes, absolutely! When your driver arrives, we’ll let them in and tell them where to meet you.

What is the nearest airport to fly into?

Austin is approximately 1.5 hours from Longneck Manor and San Antonio is 1 hour, 15 mins.

Question 9

Do you provide car service to and from airports?

Accepted Answer

We are happy to help arrange pick up and drop off with local car service but do not provide this service in-house.

Do you have RV sites on property?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not have RV hook ups nor allow boondocking on property.
