Armando

Originally from San Luis Río Colorado, Armando’s love for animals started early—and grew big (really big). After earning dual bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Environmental Science from Northern Arizona University, he turned a lifelong passion into a career working with some of the world’s most impressive animals. Armando has cared for everything from big cats and giant reptiles to giraffes, zebras, and other hoofstock, eventually rising to Manager of Ungulates at Out of Africa Wildlife Park and Sanctuary. Along the way, he discovered his true passion: megafauna. Inspired by childhood favorites like Jurassic Park and The Lion King, Armando brings both expertise and enthusiasm to Longneck Manor—where he helps ensure our animals receive exceptional care every single day.
